Greetings all :)

I'm an Oliver living in Sweden now and am most interested in seeing if anyone else here is connected with the Olivers of Sussex - we apparently go back there a long way - this is a profile of my grandfather who was born in Hollington, Battle, Sussex, 14 Dec 1885 - Harold - the 4th son of Jesse William and Charlotte Oliver (nee Marchant): https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/lifestory/3328824

Sadly my father (Laurence Casimir Oliver) is now dead so a lot of the ''information'' I have about our earlier history (going back quite a few centuries) is only hearsay - things he told me about years ago.

I was really pleased to find this website and would love to connect with possible relatives here from places like Lewes, Hollington, Battle, St. Leonards on Sea, etc.

John.
