Since typing that email I came across 'Gallery' on the website. I am using my i-Pad and when I clicked to open the Gallery nothing happened, so I don't know if the picture(s) are there but I am assuming you KNOW they are not. Because it is some hours since I saw the pics, I am afraid I cannot remember if it was one picture of the two of them, or two individual ones - but certainly photographic, Helen, so I do hope I can work out how I came across them. They looked such decent young men that that is what sparked my interest in their fate. Will get back in touch when I have found them (or have to give up!). Might be a day or two, but hopefully sooner. Bye for now.
Hello! I've just read your email and I'm very interested to hear about an image of my gt gt gt grandfather Solomon and his brother Joshua. Is it a photo? It seems a bit early for photography. I have tried to find it though various new searches, I've spent a lot of time googling him over the years! But so far I'm coming up blank. Is there any chance you could give a bit more information as to how to track down the image you are referring to?
Apologies for entering your forum - I have no connection at all with your family tree (but have found it very interesting). I came across your ancestors' names when I googled 'transportation' then 'images'. I was led to your site because I was trying to discover the fate of Solomon and Joshua, after transportation. The point of my email is to tell you that a photograph of the two young men exists and you can track it down ...... looking through some of your site I haven't seen any sign of it and maybe it would be new to you?
