Hi Betty,

I hope you are well and you have continued to make good progress since we last exchanged.

My humblest of apologies for the tardiness here, BUT, I have finally pulled together the long promised website article regarding Solomon and Joshua.

Please take a look at the following website link when you have the time which I hope you will find interesting and informative regarding your ancestor Solomon.

Ok, thanks for now Betty, hope to hear,

Shane

Hi Betty,

You have rightly exposed my tardiness! I've planned to write up the findings on Solomon and Joshua and their time in Bermuda as a website article, but I'm afraid it's yet to transpire.

However, here is a tantalising little peek at probably the key document that helped us learn (in quite graphic detail) just what became of Joshua.

I will get on and complete that article!

Thanks,

Shane

Hello to you all

I have just been looking at my records for Solomon and his brother Joshua and was dismayed that I had not added any notes for the death of Joshua at Ireland Island, Bermuda although there was a talk by Dr Jane Cavell at the family history day in 2011.    My notes state from the "Banished" booklet but I have read these notes and cannot find any reference to the death of Joshua or his burial.  Perhaps Shane or Jane can help with the notes for that?    Also I thought it had definitely been established that Solomon had served his time in Bermuda and was there when his brother died?

Thank you for your good wishes Shane - I am making good progress.

Hoping to have confirmation - Betty
