I have just been doing some googling and found a reference to one of Hubert's daughters, which may help trace that line:

(The 'official organ of the Canadian Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church'), which I found by searching for "Hubert Bayliss" and "Tinkler".

Three Cousins Leave for Mission Service in Africa

'Three grandchildren of Arthur Tinkler of Kelowna, British Columbia, left at the end of August for mission service in Africa, - Eileen Moores, Joyce Van Scheik and Don Abbey.

Eileen Moores is the daughter of Kathleen (Tinkler) and Hubert Bayliss of Kelowna, B.C.  Her husband is Robert Martin Moores whose parents live at South River, Ontario.  Eileen and Martin with their three daughters are returning to Nairobi, Kenya, where Martin is treasurer of the East Africa Union Conference.  They have spent the past six years there in the mission field...'

Perhaps this will give a few new leads . . .

I found it very interesting that you found information about William Albert Bayliss and Bayliss Neon from the Devlin Electric Sign Company website.  I made that website when I was working for that company, but there has since been a rift in the family and my husband and I are now running our own company called Coast Signs.  It is very sad that the family business broke apart, but it is rare for family businesses to make it to the third generation.  My husband and his two brothers and myself were running the company, but my husband was the only brother to get married and have kids.  Our eldest son was keen to work for the business with the goal of eventually becoming the president after his father.  My husband's two brothers had other plans and secretly plotted to take us out and sell the company's shop to a real estate developer.  Needless to say, we are no longer on speaking terms with them.

Great to have you join us here, really pleased to have made a connection with a descendant of the Canadian Bayliss branch, its a very interesting area of the tree from what I know to date.

Hopefully you will have seen and read through the thread General Oliver Discussion > The sad story of Hetty May Bayliss then the Bayliss family thereafter ... here on the messageboard where we previously discussed some of the early generations of this branch around the time when Joseph, Ada and the family first moved to Canada.

Also under Facts and Happenings > Fantastic Oliver family photograph on the main website there is a photograph of Joseph and Ada, their children and also all of Ada's siblings and their families, hopefully that will be of interest to you too.

You'll see that we've been looking into each of the branches of Joseph and Ada's children:

Honestly, Hubert is a complete blank at the moment.

I had previously located some information on William Albert Bayliss and that he had set up the neon lighting business (per the below link) but found out little else really and never manage to locate any pictures of William etc
