I'm attaching what is probably the best quality image of the photograph I have at present, but it is a picture from a printed book so not great quality, you're welcome to download, print, frame and display if the quality is OK. I'm pretty sure there is an original photograph within the Oxfordshire Archives, I've been meaning to go and try to dig it out for good while, and right now of course I can't - but I will for sure once I'm able and will let you know.
That is an amazing picture of the Oliver family!! I called my mother in law first thing when I saw it! Is there a way to get a copy of the photo? I would love to have it framed and displayed! I would love to see other old family pictures that you may have! Old photos are also my favourite!
Thanks for starting the Annie Marie Oliver thread...I will try to add things to it!
A good few people from various lines down from Albert and Hannah have been active on this page and/or been to the Oliver family history days, but I think you and your husband are the first descendants of Annie Maria that I've met, so again, so pleased that you've joined and posted - it's always good to get things confirmed from folks in the actually family lines, and you're confirmation that Eva Emilu emigrated to Canada was great to read, I had a hunch but was never able to be 100%.
I have been working on my husbands family tree and found this site...it is amazing what you have done and found!!
Solomon Oliver was my husbands 4th great grandfather on his moms side. I sent my mother in law the link for the web site so that she could read about Solomon and Joshua Oliver.
My husbands line is from Solomon and Maria (Butcher) son Albert (1841-1917) and Hannah Hanwell (1842-1913). Their daughter Annie Maria Oliver married Albert Earnest Woodward. Their daughter Eva Emily Woodward married Henry Fisher Gibbons and together with Henry’s mother came to Canada. Together they had only 1 daughter, my husbands grandmother Clarice May Gibbons.
