Hi Adam

 

There's a medal roll index card which sounds like it might be the one, with two of the regiments you mention:

So far I haven't tracked down any service records for this Joseph, or any clue as to where he was from. I'll keep looking!

Hi all,

There is currently a WW1 Victory medal for sale on ebay. It was awarded to a Private Joseph Oliver of the Ox and Bucks Light Infantry, Machine Gun Corps.

 

Does anyone know if this is one of our Olivers? I'll purchase it if so and keep it until a closer relative/descendant claims it.
