Thanks for that Jane! nice to see an image of the actual parish register entry there for Winifred and Clifford.
Yes, I have now identified 14 of the 15 grandchildren mentioned in the obituary, and I do have a lead on the 15th, which is quite interesting but needs a little more checking.
Parts of this family certainly seem to have dispersed from Stonesfield, Kate to Canada, Beatrice to Coventry and Winifred to Windsor and Slough.
So, here is our family information to date:

Hi again Shane! It sounds like you are well on the way to identifying the fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren mentioned in Beatrice's obituary. She had a lot of birthdays to remember!
I expect you already have this, but will post just in case you haven't seen it. The Surrey parish registers collection on Ancestry includes an image of the register page for the marriage of Winifred May Bartlett (24, daughter of Frederick Jesse Bartlett, labourer) and Clifford Arthur Pettifer, a gardener, at St Bartholomew's Church, Leigh, Surrey, on 5 February 1929. The witnesses were Sarah H. Bartlett and Fred Bartlett. The Surrey baptism registers on Ancestry stop in 1912 but from birth registrations it looks like Clifford and Winifred had one child, a son Clifford F., born the year after they married.
You should be able to pick up Clifford & Winifred on the 1939 Register on Findmypast (it's now available as part of the general subscription; I haven't checked if they have extended it to library users yet).
Besides trying to delve into the story of Kate/Kittys line today, I've also taken a look at another line down from Beatrice and Frederick, the line down of Sarah Hannah Bartlett.
As shown we reach one of modern Stonesfields best known residents, Avis Ushaw, president of the Stonesfield WI and Darby and Joan Club and organizer of many many village activities. I think Avis must be one of the most knowledgeable of all Stonesfield folks as to the people and stories of the last 70-80 years and has always been hugely helpful with various questions from me.

The Witney Gazette also holds a few clippings from various weddings:
Following the Canadian Voters List again, I located the following records in 1957 and 1958 for who I think might be our David Gold and Kathleen Gold nee Peters.
1957 captures David's occupation as C.I.L; Canadian Industries Limited?
1957
1958
The address for David and Kathleen is 75 Rosethorn Avenue, again in the High Park district.
We can see that 102 Chambers Avenue where Kate and James are, and 75 Rosethorn Avenue where their daughter Kathleen is, is just a 2 minutes walk away.
I found another entry in 1963:
1963
Something that is interesting and possibly another lead is when we reach 1972, and we find a Katheen and David Gold, but this time in the same house we find a Frank Gold and Katherine Gold - might these be children of our Kathleen and Frank I wonder?
1972
In 1963 and 1972 the address is 11 Stone Court, which is the property in the centre of the above picture - google maps had me confused for a moment as the home to the left is No.9 and the home to the right is No.15, so I wasn't sure if the middle was 11 or 13 - but then I saw on the voters list that there was and is no No. 13 Stone Court - maybe that's due to superstitious builders!
Possibly more leads there, or maybe red herrings!!
By tapping into some records on 'Canadian Voters Lists' I was able to pick up Kate and James in 1957 and 1958, which detailed James as working for the C.N.R, perhaps stands for Canadian National Railway?
1957
1958
It also detailed them as living at 102 Chambers Avenue, which is in the Electoral District of High Park, Toronto, and here is 102 Chambers Avenue in 2015:
I have to say, it looks to be a lovely house.
Digging into the same records I tried to look for Frederick Arthur Peter, Kate and James' son - I found the below - Hmm, I wonder if this is indeed our Frederick and proof that he married? more digging and checking required!
Oh, really great find there on the memorial to James and Kate! So nice to see that one, and nice to see that Kate/Kitty reached a great age, about the same as her mother Beatrice interestingly, 89/90.
I had also spotted the attestation paper just his morning, and intriguingly, there is an online tree with literally one single person in it, 'James Peters' with these papers attached, nothing else at all - so you would think this would be descendant surely!
Yes, I agree it would probably be worthwhile checking out that Toronto Star as it could list relation and give us married names etc, I will have a look at that!
Find a Grave has another photograph of the Gold memorial from which it appears that David Gold's full middle name was Francis. There is a memorial to James and Kate Peters in the same cemetery: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=66607044
Re. the death notice for Frederick A. Peters, it looks like you can pay for access to the Toronto Star archive. Prices start at Can$9.95 for a one-week pass: http://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/thestar/search.html Perhaps worth a go as you may well find other leads on the family besides confirming Frederick's death.
There are attestation papers for a (single, Welsh) James Peters of the right age on the Library & Archives Canada site. The rest of his papers haven't been digitised yet but it may well be worth coming back and checking as there could be details of his marriage and other useful clues in the file. They are currently up to surname HUNT in the digitisation process so it will be a while before they get to PETERS.
I've just been able to locate Kitty, James and Frederick on the 1921 Canadian Census:

Interesting that is shows James's birthplace as Wales and that he initially emigrated to Canada in 1912, perhaps it was WW1 that brought him back to the UK and where he then of course met Kitty somehow. Rather oddly it shows James as Head and Kitty as 'Lodger', but it does state that they're both married.
It also shows their address, 1263 Landsdown Avenue, Toronto, which if its still then same building is shown below:
I did also find the following references to obituaries, I can't yet access any detail, but Frederick may have died in 1999 aged 80 if this is our Frederick:
PETERS, Frederick Arthur; 80; Toronto ON; Toronto Star; 1999-1-10; jpcoursey PETERS, Frederick Arthur; 80; Toronto ON; Toronto Star; 1999-1-8; ghall PETERS, Frederick Arthur; 80; Toronto ON; Toronto Star; 1999-1-9; jpcoursey
Early on in all our Oliver research we were lucky enough to discover the amazing photo of Albert (son of Solomon) Oliver, Hannah (Hanwell) his wife, all of his children, children's spouses and his children's children - still an absolute gem.
Since then, we've delved into a number of the lines down, William Edgar and the Oliver builders of Combe, Ernest Albert and the Oliver Garage of Long Hanborough, Lily Selina and the Poc0cks of Clanfield, Thomas Hanwell of Spring Villa, Ada Beatrice who emigrated to Canada, for example.
So there still remains a few under-researched lines, and one of which is Beatrice Agatha who married Frederick Jesse Bartlett. We are fortunate to have discovered the lovely picture below:
From right to left it includes Beatrice holding Sarah (b.1907), then we see Kate (b.1895), Doris (b.1897), Beatrice (b.1901), Winifred (b.1904) and finally Frederick. The photograph is circa 1907, Beatrice and Frederick had a further daughter Miriam Alice born in 1899 who sadly died in 1903 and also a son Frederick (b.1911).
An entry in the Witney Gazette from 1961 really triggered me thinking about this line and as the piece illustrates there is a large family that descends, much of which is still undiscovered.
Witney Gazette, February 24th 1961
Funeral of Mrs. B. A. Bartlett at Stonesfield
Mrs. Beatrice Agatha Bartlett died at 12 Combe Road, Stonesfield, on Wednesday of last week at the age of 89.
One of Stonesfield's oldest residents, Mrs. Bartlett was born in the village and lived there all her life. She was Miss Beatrice Oliver before she married Mr. Frederick Jesse Bartlett in 1894. Mrs. Bartlett leaves five children, fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
The funeral at St. James's Church, Stonesfield, on Saturday was conducted by the Rector. the Rev. S. B. Calver. It was attended by numerous family mourners and friends.
A simple view of the top level tree is as follows ...
.. and digging into this branch turns up a bit of a challenge straight off the bat - tracing eldest daughter Kate!
There are a few helpful facts known about eldest daughter Kate (also called Kit) but as she emigrated to Canada the usual 'local' records don't really help trace through to any potential living descendants.
Some pointers we do have are:
Kate married a Jim/James Peters (probably the below)
Name: Kate Bartlett Spouse Surname: James Peters Date of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec 1918 Registration district: Marylebone Inferred County: Middlesex
They had a son Fred, born in the UK (probably the below)
Name: Frederick A Peters Mother's Maiden Surname: Bartlett Date of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec 1918 Registration district: Marylebone Inferred County: London
They emigrated to Canada soon after (probably the below, 10 Sep 1919, aboard the Sicilian, departing Avonmouth for Quebec)
Then, it's believed:
There were also three daughters born in Canada, 1. Kay/Kathleen 2. Isabel/Isobel and 3. Mary
All children are believed to have married, Kay/Kathleen possibly to a man called 'Gold'
That's were the information ends. So, we know a fair bit, but are there records and/or information out there to help us bring us closer to the current day for this line I wonder??? - if any one is able to offer anything up and help please do!!
