Thanks so much for joining and posting, welcome!

I wanted to check if you had already seen this thread on the messageboard http://oliverfamilyhistory.activeboard.com/t59809142/prudence-oliver-ellis-griffin-protestant-house-and-more-and-/?, this is probably the most comprehensive section of information that we have on the Griffin branch that Duncan married into, indeed you will find that direct descendants and other close cousins of Miriam and Duncan have contributed to the thread.

Miriam Griffin married my cousin in Winnipeg MB Canada 1915.  I am interested in that branch of tree.

Duncan Hendrick Shearer was born in Monquhitter Aberdeen Scotland 24 Sept 1892.  He is #8 child of George Shearer (1851-1926) & Isabella Kerr(1850-1926).

Isabella Kerr is #5 child of John Kerr (1807-1873) and Isabella Rannie (1812-    )  I have statistical  data on these families.
