Great to hear some of your recollections of your branch, and you're right, you're in the same branch as Irene Cooke (nee Oliver), daughter of William - do you already know each other I wonder?
I think I will start a new message thread actually (will be under General Oliver Discussion) specifically on the branch down from Herbert Henry and Jayne - with both you and Irene now here I'm sure we'll be able to crack who married who and capture the children etc.
In a more immediate sense, here's a little diagram showing your line back to as far as my research goes, 1676 - just names for you at the moment of course but hopefully they'll all come to life more in time.

hi im rose oliver , im the daughter of jack in the picture posted by irene cook in the picture gallery(neice to all the others in the photo, eager to learn anymore of my family history, i know their father"s name was henry oliver who married jayne holyman and lived in ramsden( skippet?) till jayne moved to finstock with with aunt lou and uncle jasie living in laural cottage ,finstock highstreet,uncle charlie lived up the road at stonewold, uncle bill lived at combe, uncle harold lived in fauler ,would love to sort out a tree to pass down to my kids
